Yikes, 8yo asked tough questions about this pandemic.

I have been managing my stress fairly well, but with the latest from the President and other RWers, it’s cracking. I’m worried for everyone.

I pay money to run this instance. I should really use it more often. I keep going back to Tw because I have so many more connections there of people I really wish to keep up with.

I know it can be done. I've all but eliminated my FB account. I login for 5 minutes every other day or so just long enough to check notifications and a couple of groups.

Part Ⅲ was uneventful, but not the last part. Should fill it next week and check the bone health in 6 months.

6yo thought it would be funny to use play doh patterns on our faces.

Part 2 was much easier than part 1. If possible, I’d rather not have to go through that again.

Today, 6yo didn’t want to go to school.

6yo: Do you wanna know why?

J: yes, why?

6yo: Because it takes my WHOLE day!

I see no lie.

I should go to bed, but if I get out of this chair, I have to take care of the dishes first. Also, this chair is comfy and warm.

The coffee is the delicious this morning.

But I have hit my limit for today and can have no more. 😢

I haven't made a political donation in a while. Until now. Not that it's a lot or anything because it's not. Enough to help, though.

for a kid who doesn’t like seams in their clothes, this tracks.

6yo proudly proclaimed tonight: I LOVE my birthday suit. I don’t want to wear any other clothes.

Me: *looks at outside temperature* uh huh.

While the Amz Fire tablets/FreeTime for the kids have been a “godsend”, they are a nightmare to manage. At least twice per year, I have to completely wipe them.

Below the thunders of the upper deep,
Far, far beneath in the abysmal sea,
His ancient, dreamless, uninvaded sleep
The Kraken sleepeth: faintest sunlights flee
About his shadowy sides; above him swell
Huge sponges of millennial growth and height;
And far away into the sickly light,
From many a wondrous and secret cell
Unnumber'd and enormous polypi
Winnow with giant arms the lumbering green.
There hath he lain for ages, and will lie
Battening upon huge sea-worms in his sleep,
Until the latter fire shall heat the deep;
Then once by man and angels to be seen,
In roaring he shall rise and on the surface die.
— "The Kraken" by Alfred Lord Tennyson, 1830
