A month later and I’m in the process of moving all the accounts over to it. Good times. And it’s actually been mostly painless. A few things have cropped up—like when people tell me they’ve swapped up the name servers for their domains, but haven’t. That’s been it, though. Mostly painless.

Control panel installed and mostly configured.

@chigh best part about moving to VPS is I have rebuilt the system twice and it takes less than 5 minutes.

Spun up and now getting the control panel software on it.

My previous provider changed hands and they now want to charge me a significant sum that used to be included in the managed server fees. I mean, that's why I was paying for a fairly expensive plan.

Today, I need to spin up a new hosting server (not for this instance) and get it properly configured. And maybe get the control panel software on it. Maybe just maybe this weekend, try migrating one of my accounts to it.

I cannot keep up with the amount of new music coming out.

Can’t wait till I feel safe enough to go to Storm Crow here in TO.

"A few bad apples"

Finish it...

"A few bad apples ruin the bunch."

I know several law-enforcement officers and none of them have spoken up, except to support themselves. None have done anything to correct/stop the "few bad apples". They are complicit, ruined.

I'll be perfectly clear.

Black lives matter.

The entire law-enforcement machine needs to be completely overhauled. They have shown themselves unfit to "server & protect" because they're only serving & protecting themselves, while indiscriminately hurting & killing others.

I was today years old when I found out why I liked Rihanna’s “Shut Up and Drive” as much as I do. It was co-written with members of New Order.

Music I’ve really enjoyed lately. Not in any particular order. The first in the list is so new and only gotten 2 listens, but begs for more.

- Fiona Apple’s Fetch the Bolt Cutters
- Dua Lipa’s Future Nostalgia
- Dorian Elektra’s Flamboyant (I’m late to the party on this one)
- Ladytron’s almost entire back catalogue

Yikes. Cleaned off like 700 MB of orphaned attachments.

‪Broke down and bought a training skewer for my bike. It won’t be here until the end of the month. But if we’re going to be sheltering in place for several months, I’m gonna need it. ‬

It would be nice if the street outside would dry. Kids are chomping at the bit to ride their bikes. It's only +5º outside you say? They don't care.

This would never have happened back in Atlanta... It's what? +15º? Sorry, too cold. So far, due to the need for social distancing, we've been out almost every day—including when it's been 0º. The streets are practically empty, so it's easy to keep 2m away from others.

Below the thunders of the upper deep,
Far, far beneath in the abysmal sea,
His ancient, dreamless, uninvaded sleep
The Kraken sleepeth: faintest sunlights flee
About his shadowy sides; above him swell
Huge sponges of millennial growth and height;
And far away into the sickly light,
From many a wondrous and secret cell
Unnumber'd and enormous polypi
Winnow with giant arms the lumbering green.
There hath he lain for ages, and will lie
Battening upon huge sea-worms in his sleep,
Until the latter fire shall heat the deep;
Then once by man and angels to be seen,
In roaring he shall rise and on the surface die.
— "The Kraken" by Alfred Lord Tennyson, 1830
