Got a COVID test today. 9yo was sent home from school with symptoms. So they tested us both. Results within 96 hrs. Until then. 9yo stays home.

Looking forward to seeing how many COVID cases the kids’ school since we know there is one.

This is the wrong time to realize that we, my family, need more social contact with people. We are fairly isolated and self-contained. So, I guess our first 2 years here were training for this one? 😅

Need an app or something to be able to create playlists/collections of albums and be able to view them and play them as such. Not just throwing entire albums of songs into a playlist.

I don’t want to get out of bed, but I always feel like I’m wasting the day if I don’t. Not like there’s much going on. If I get up earlier, the weekend will seem to last longer, right?

I hate watching a video about music and it mentioning a number of different albums and I react: “oooh! That’s such a good album. I need to listen to it again! Oooh! That’s such a good album I need to listen to it again!”

I need a way to simultaneously listen to all 23 albums mentioned in this video and enjoy every second.

I am always complaining about not having time to listen to music in my list of things to listen to again, vet i am constantly looking for something I haven’t heard before.

I had to go and run Windows Update, didn't I?

In other news, got to hear some new tracks in progress that I can't wait to hear get released.

Listening to this reminds me of Alabaster (Missing you! 🖤), who introduced it to me. I gave away my copy to a mutual friend. It went out of print. My MP3s of it were total garbage—unlistenable. I finally found a copy.

I think it’s more sentimental than good, but I still like it.

I dread when it’s time to do a massive upgrade to this instance. I have no clue as to what I’m doing. Just to be transparent. 😅

A month later and I’m in the process of moving all the accounts over to it. Good times. And it’s actually been mostly painless. A few things have cropped up—like when people tell me they’ve swapped up the name servers for their domains, but haven’t. That’s been it, though. Mostly painless.

@chigh best part about moving to VPS is I have rebuilt the system twice and it takes less than 5 minutes.

Spun up and now getting the control panel software on it.

My previous provider changed hands and they now want to charge me a significant sum that used to be included in the managed server fees. I mean, that's why I was paying for a fairly expensive plan.
