mastodon: where everyone's half as old as me and has accomplished three times as much

I have the feeling that I don't totally understand the hiding text behind a warning, because I have yet to see a post behind a warning that I found myself thinking "yeah, probably a good idea to warn people about the content of this post". It also makes me think I'll post something that everyone else will be like "Dood, WTHeck were you thinking not putting a warning on that post?" Can't quite yet bring myself to call it a toot.

I wish my company allowed me to order food from the cafeteria and have it delivered to my cube. Especially in days in feeling anti-social.

Below the thunders of the upper deep,
Far, far beneath in the abysmal sea,
His ancient, dreamless, uninvaded sleep
The Kraken sleepeth: faintest sunlights flee
About his shadowy sides; above him swell
Huge sponges of millennial growth and height;
And far away into the sickly light,
From many a wondrous and secret cell
Unnumber'd and enormous polypi
Winnow with giant arms the lumbering green.
There hath he lain for ages, and will lie
Battening upon huge sea-worms in his sleep,
Until the latter fire shall heat the deep;
Then once by man and angels to be seen,
In roaring he shall rise and on the surface die.
— "The Kraken" by Alfred Lord Tennyson, 1830
